I love the Desert. Pinal County gets roughly 8 inches of rain per year, compared to the average US rainfall of 30 inches. When it does come, it comes short, biblical torrents that decapitate trees and make rivers out of streets.
I’m down with a little anarchy. Hell, It always evens out.
The desert is also subtle AF. Last weeks massive rain storms made todays little jaunt across the Sonoran desert was just a little more green, and to me a little more beautiful. Cross a few streams in the washes, turn up the ZZ top, and just enjoy a helluva good ride.
Yeah, I Love Arizona.
Also: RIP Dusty Hill.
