A long week.  A Friday night feels pretty good. A beer, a  reflection or two on the day, and nothing else.  Ahh, nothing else.   Well, till tomorrow.

A local Pittsburgh personality that started making videos that people related to and made a semi celebrity out of himself.    This guy cracks me up.     They got him marching in parades and such.   He says things I think.  Makes me chuckle.

I remember waiting outside by the birch tree  for mom and dad to start the car so we could go see the Great Waldo Pepper. I was 8. I think my dad always figured himself somewhere  in a dogfight, or at least a barnstormer. …

I gotta admit, thanksgiving is not my favorite holiday.

But, I’m hip on being thankful.     I had to do some work this morning, so I went in and knocked it out, then headed the 80 miles north to the inlaws so we could have thanksgiving.     I have really cool inlaws.

Seems to me its always better when its tight.  Just the family that you talk about in your conversations from day to day.

But when you sit around a table with people that you truly love, thats a special thing.   Yeah, we had that.

My 2nd oldest daughter and I busted out early, and had a good talk, pretty much all the way home.    I’m thankful for her.

I had a great thanksgiving.   I have a lot to be thankful for.

Hope you guys all had a killer one as well.   Happy Thanksgiving Fokkers 🙂   Ride Hard.

One of the things about this house that I like, is the fireplace.    I’m appreciating it more and more.    It’s starting to get cold.

I don’t know what it is:    When the thermometer hits the 40’s and 50’s up here, I start to quit riding my bike.   I don’t know why.    It’s like a pre-emptive break up.      Its sorta dumb.    I should be riding it before the snow falls.    Seems I gear up for winter.

Yeah, Winter.   I hate this part about where I live.    At some point, I need to find my way back to the desert.    That time still isn’t now.    There are some things to do.

One of those under appreciated bands, that made some pretty good music.    I always stop the dial, when this comes on the radio.
