The new Indian Chief gets unveiled tomorrow. The Indian brand has been passed around more times in the last 50 years than a hooker at a Prince concert. I hope they make it, but It’ll be hard to beat what they once were:

The 1948 Indian Chief.   They couldn’t do this now.    You can’t fit disk brakes in those fenders, and that rear suspension wouldn’t fly. Screw disk brakes I say. Gorgeous.

I’m up way too early.   I don’t know why.

Its good to be home.     This is where I was born, and my family is all at.    There is something really comforting about that to me.    My father made his mark here, and I meet people all the time who remember him.    I miss the Man, and he was a Man.     Seems like there are damn few these days.    JVD took care of his own, and was true to the very end.

This was one of his favorite songs.    Being remembered was important to him.   Hard to forget.

My bike is in the shop.   Crank position sensor.    I should have changed it myself.   They’re telling me thursday or friday.
